Tesla launches electric quad in US for kids

A Tesla sign is seen at the U.S. electric vehicle maker

Dec. 2 (Reuters) – Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) launched an electric kids’ quad in the United States for $ 1,900, two years after the electric car maker introduced the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with its Cybertruck pick-up.

The four-wheeled ATV – “Cyberquad for Kids” – is modeled after the Cybertruck model and will start shipping in 2-4 weeks, according to the company’s website.

The bike, however, cannot be shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, Tesla said.

Musk had tweeted in 2019, an electric ATV will arrive as an option for Tesla’s highly anticipated Cybertruck, which has yet to launch, whose production has faced challenges due to supply chain issues.

From the launch of an agave-based liquor “Tesla Tequila” to a prototype humanoid robot “Tesla Bot”, the company has offered several original products in the past.
